Through partnerships with local and national initiatives, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA plays an active role in the community in developing programs that promote a healthy spirit, mind and body.
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA is devoted to helping people through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body. The We Build People campaign is an annual fund-raising initiative to help the YMCA provide financial assistance to those who might otherwise be unable to afford YMCA programs and memberships. The We Build People campaign has made it possible: for hundreds of children to experience the YMCA’s core values of caring, honest, respect and responsibility; for families to bond and grow closer by providing a place to spend time together through shared activities; and to give adults a place to maintain their health and feel a sense of community and belonging.
