
MobileFit
Life can be confusing, your workout shouldn't be! That is the concept behind MobileFit, a unique new fitness system that is designed to help you get the most out of your workout every time. The MobileFit technology prescribes a customized workout based on your personal fitness goals. Each workout is factored in to the next one as you progress toward your goals. If you are not yet a MobileFit member, simply sign up at our fitness facility at the MobileFit kiosk and get your very own workout program. Current members can go to www.mymobilefit.com to see your own fitness dashboard, modify your workouts or ask your trainer a question.
Personal Training
Personal Training programs are designed for the individual who wants one-on-one personal attention. A certified personal trainer will help you develop a fitness program customized for your specific fitness goals and needs. Your trainer will organize and supervise each workout with specific tips and safety techniques. Each personal training session will last either 1 hour or 30 minutes depending on the package you purchase. We recommend participants train two to three times a week for best results. All personal training participants must be YMCA members. To set up your personal training consultation, please contact our Health Enhancement Director.
Personal Training Policies
* Please note all packages/sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable.
* All sessions must be used in the calendar year they were purchased.
* A 24-hour cancellation policy is required or you will be charged for the session.
* Sessions must be paid prior to the first training.
* No outside trainers are permitted to use our facilities for personal training purposes.
Physical Fitness Assessment
Physical fitness test provides you with information on your current level of fitness. By assessing the five components of fitness, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, muscular strength and muscular endurance and flexibility, you will be able to take your fitness level one step further. The assessment will provide data that will help you develop a proper exercise program and identify fitness improvements. By attaining these results, you will be able to set realistic and attainable goals toward your fitness needs. To set up your appointment, please fill out an orientation form at the front desk.
This service is free to all YMCA members. Non-members can also receive a physical fitness assessment at a cost of $30.00 (body fat testing only $15.00).
Personal Fitness Orientations
YMCA is proud to offer "Personal Orientation" for new and experienced weight room users. The orientation will educate individuals on the theory of strength training, as well as aid them in their quest to improve their fitness level. These orientations will educate the participant on mind and body fitness, why it is important to change your workouts frequently, the importance of stretching, strength training guidelines, and how you can design your own program. To set up a personal orientation, please fill out an orientation form at the front desk or fitness desk. All participants must be Y members.
There is no fee for this service.

Youth Weight Room Regulations
* No one under the age of 13 years old is allowed in the Universal room or weight room.
* No one under the age of 13 is allowed in aerobic classes.
* Members ages 13-15 MUST go through an orientation before using the Trotter machines.
* Ages 13-15 are not allowed in the free weight area.
* Guests under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Universal room or weight room.
* The YMCA does not allow outside personal trainers to use our facility as training premises.
