So what does it mean to be a member of the Y?  It's so much more than learning to swim or losing weight.  Sure those are important things that we do, but being a member of the Y means being a part of something bigger.  It's making a new friend with the same hopes and fears as you standing right next to you in a fitness class.  It's teaching kids simple but profound values in afterschool.  It's learning teamwork and cooperation as a part of a youth sports team, or learning about taking care of your community as a volunteer.
At the Y, our programs are important, but they're just a part of a bigger goal for us.  We're a part of this community, and since every community is different, we work to meet the needs of families just like yours.  Whether is for youth developmentfor healthy living or for social responsibility, our programs are designed to make your life better and to make our community a better place.  Come and find out more at the Y.
