PARENT / CHILD PROGRAM

6 months-19 months
This program is for children 6 – 19 months of age WITH a parent or guardian in the water. It consists of 8 thirty - minute sessions of water enrichment and aquatics readiness activities.

This program provides a positive environment for children age 19 months - 3 years WITH a parent or guardian in the water.  The primary objective is to get both the parent and child comfortable in the water.  Classes are designed to allow children to have fun in the water while parents guide them to learn new aquatic skills.  This is a wonderful class for preparation for independent swim lessons in our preschool program. In order to provide the best quality of instruction and a balanced class for our swim programs, we require that all participants be able to meet both the age requirements and prerequisites for each class.  PLEASE read these
descriptions carefully so that your child can receive the instruction they need.  Placement in the wrong class is detrimental to your child, both in their swimming development and their self-esteem.  To ensure proper placement, participants may contact the aquatics director for an evaluation appointment.

Please Note: These course descriptions and prerequisites have changed slightly.  In some cases your child may be moved in order to make classes run as effectively as possible.
